8th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast, hosted and sponsored by East District City Councilor Ron Marsan, Country Kitchen, 18 Hampshire Street, 6:00am to 11am on Saturday, November 11. Breakfast includes 2 eggs, toast, home fries, and coffee.

Methuen Veterans Day Parade, Saturday, November 11.  The parade will form up at the American Legion Post, 200 Broadway, at 9:30am and step off at 10am - Proceed north on Broadway, left on Hampshire St., left on Lowell St. past the Central Fire Station and left on Grove St. to Walnut Grove Cemetery for ceremonies. The parade will then return to the American Legion by the same route.  In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony takes place indoors at the American Legion. 

At Noon, Arnold F. Greenwood Post 8349 VFW will conduct ceremonies at the Veterans Lot in Elmwood Cemetery.  The Methuen School Poster contest will be announced by the Veterans Office at the VFW Hall, 26 River Street, at 1:15pm followed by the raffle drawing for the Eugene Voiland Flag program.

All Veterans, active duty military service members, active National Guard members and Reservists, Gold Star family members, school groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops and civic organizations are invited to participate in the parade and ceremonies.
