The Department of Public Works will resume fall yard waste collection on Tuesday, Sept 6, 2016 through December 2, 2016. Yard Waste pick up will follow your recycling schedule, which may be viewed on www.cityofmethuen.net. Residents are required to put leaves and grass clipping in paper bags or they can put them in barrels: ALL BARRELS MUST HAVE A "YARD WASTE" STICKER ON THEM OR THEY WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. STICKERS ARE AVAILABLE AT CITY HALL, THE TOWN YARD OR THE TRANSFER STATION.
(Brush must be put out on your recycling day. It cannot be in any type of bags, and will be picked up on Friday of your recycling week
(Brush/Branches must be tied in bundles nor more the 4 feet long and 4 inches in diameter.)
Residents may also drop off their yard waste from 7:30am to 1:45pm M-F and Sat. 8am-11:45am, at the transfer station Located at 36 Huntington Ave. Info: DPW, 978-983-8545
