NOTICE: Daytime Lane Closures Scheduled on Riverside Drive between Route 110 and Ames Street. Work will occur daily through Friday, October 7 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The daily lane closures will allow work crews to safely and efficiently resurface the roadways and install pavement markings as part of overall pedestrian and bicycle improvements. New Recycling & Trash Carts Are Ready to Roll! On Monday morning, September 12, delivery of the new wheeled recycling and trash carts begins in Methuen. Cart delivery will begin in the West end on the Monday trash/recycling pickup route and continue Monday to Saturday from dawn to dusk until all carts are delivered citywide following trash/recycling routes.

Each eligible household will receive a 65-gallon trash cart and 95-gallon recycling cart dropped off in driveways. Please note that automated trash pickup in the city officially begins the week of October 3.
