The City of Methuen is seeking bids for Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) for the Water Treatment Plant. A copy of the bid package with forms to be used and specifications can be obtained on the City of Methuen’s website Methuen.gov/purchasing beginning on September 22, 2025 @8:00AM.
The bids must be filled out and signed as directed therein, sealed in an envelope plainly marked “GAC - Water Treatment Plant”, addressed to the Office of the City Clerk, Searles Building, 41 Pleasant Street - Room 112, Methuen, MA 01844, and endorsed with the name, address, and phone number of the bidder. Sealed Bids must be received by the City Clerk no later than October 7,2025 @11:00AM.
No bid will be considered which is not accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price payable to the “City of Methuen”. This bid deposit will become the property of the City if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract.
