The Training Unit plans, coordinates, and implements training programs to prepare Department Officers to effectively handle the realities of police work by promoting the skills, knowledge, professional attitude, and high sense of duty necessary to the police profession. The Training Unit maintains records of such training programs and the training files of individual officers.
